About Raising Hope Ranch LLC

We all need hope as we battle to overcome challenges in our lives. Raising Hope Ranch LLC raises animals with gentle disposition to bring hope and joy to people through animal assisted therapy and activities. Our animals visit schools, nursing homes, hospitals, and similar entities as well as visiting individuals’ homes. Animals and their handler may attend mental health, occupational, physical or speech therapy sessions with the appropriately trained professional to help motivate and calm clients.

Founded by a special education teacher, Raising Hope Ranch also has a special focus on helping to foster acceptance of differences among students. Our miniature horse with the “genetic defect” of dwarfism sparks great discussion in classrooms about the value of every student’s contribution.
